I will most remember about my last year (fourth grade) at Mastway is all the teachers that helped me through this fourth grade process. My art teacher Mrs. Haistings had helped me create my clay project as a raccoon. And Mrs. Gerard and Mrs. Zwicker inspired me to write and read. Mrs. Baker a gym teacher which was probably my favorite teacher that teaches a special. My class and I went to the State house which was my favorite field trip.

The five things I’m most proud of is my writing I thinned I accomplished my goal I wanted which was putting more adjectives into my writing. I feel like I’m now better at math I know all my multiplication and division facts up to 11. I felt like my poetry book came out really well although it got lost when I was trying to give to my mother. I also was nervous and excited when I got called to do the morning announcements. And my last thing is studying our New Hampshire people and the wax museum.

I’m looking forward to middle school because you get to do clubs and sports I’m thinking of doing track. I like having fact that you have teams so then it’s like 2 classes connived.  I’m hoping to get Mr. Hall I heard he doesn’t give a lot of homework. I plan on doing the voila for an instrument. Out of all those things I’m most excited to meet the Moherment kids because I have a lot of friends that go there.

The wax museum

I studied Mike Lupica for the wax museum. The most difficult thing I faced with this project was the concluding and topic sentences. The thing I’m most proud of is completing my poster along with my report and portrait. It was hard to be patient with the hamburger paragraphs but after it was all done I felt really good about my project. I will most remember how famous he was for being an author and a T.V worker. The wax museum was fun to dress up as your person, but saying your speech a billion times is so tiring. After it was done I felt like I was in heaven stood up. JJJ
MIKE LUPICA’S LIFE: By Peyton

Have you ever wondered where Mike Lupica lives or what does he does for a living? Well that can be answered. Lupica was born on May, 11, 1952 in Oneida New York. Mike’s sons’ names are Alex, and Zach and his wife’s name is Taylor. He spent his early childhood in Nashua, New Hampshire thinking about whether he wanted to be an author. Lupica is still alive today. Nowadays he lives in Connecticut. He still hasn’t retired. He hasn’t given up his writing career.

Even though he has had many more jobs in his life, he is mostly famous for being an author and illustrator. He went to Bishop Guertin High School, and went to Boston College.  Mike started writing in 1984. He made his first book called Reggie, the story of a famous baseball player. He was also a sports writer and columnist.  He was a columnist from the New York Daily News. He writes kids books including Heat and the sequel, Travel Team. They both have to do with sports. Lupica slowly found his way into writing as an author. He finally accomplished being one and wrote many more books than most authors do in their lives.

Mike Lupica is famous for lots of things. Here’s some reasons he’s famous. He became the youngest New York Daily News columnist. The Daily News column he writes is called “Shooting from the Lip”.  Mike became a sports writer in Pottstown, Pennsylvania. In 1984 Lupica published “The Sport Life” magazine. He followed his interest into golf and wrote for many magazines about it. Mike Lupica has been a recurring guest on CBS, Morning News, Good morning America, and the McNeil Lehar News hour. Mike, as you can see, is super successful in life but that’s not all. There’s even more in the next paragraph.

Mike Lupica made 31 books in 29 years- that’s more than a lot more authors could write. Lupica was one of the guys who talked on ESPN. Mike earned his first award in 2003, the Edgar Allan Poe award. He also owned his own radio shows. One was successful one was not. Mike worked alongside with Pon La Greca and precedes the Michael Kay show. He has a show on Nationwide from 9-11 on Sunday. So now you know he doesn’t just children’s books, he does so many other things as well.

You may ask, is that all? Nope, you’re heading the wrong direction. This is my last paragraph but I hope it will teach a lot. Bump and Run, Wild Pitch, and Travel Team are his bestselling books. He received the Jim Murray Award in 2003 along with the Anthony award in 2003. Lupica’s known for controversially saying “The Yankees are only good because they pay them a lot”. Mike also met lots of famous people including George W. Bush. I hoped you’ve learned a lot about Mike Lupica, at least most of what he does. He is ambitious, super successful and his dreams came true.

Problems with Fast Food

There’s lots of things about fast food that has horrible effects on environment

And these things are increasing every day. One problem with eating fast food has

Bad effects on our health, fast food has fats and unhealthy chemicals. Fast food places sell an awful lot of meat, and a lot of trees are cut down. One problem with eating fast food is the bad effects it has on our heath, fast food has fats and unhealthy chemicals. Fast food places sell an awful lot of meat. And a lot of trees are cut down for grazing land. Many of their items are transported from long distances, before they reach your seat, further increasing their impact on air quantity. They also have negative water, one fourth of it has oil and it uses lots if packaging. Which takes about 20 to 100 years to disambiguate. Over all fast food places also uses tons of packaging with a lot of their products. Most of it if not all, of this meat is made at the factory farms, which makes more global warming than all our cars put together. The world can’t keep going on like this. If it does kids will live unhealthy environments. We have to find another way to help the environments by choosing healthier food choices.

There’s so many ways to help the earth this isn’t even 1% of what we do as a country but there’s hope in the world. You should consider ordering healthier meals because if you don’t most people in the U.S will be overweight. Don’t buy cheese burgers that cost on dollar because it’s bad for our health even though its low priced. There trying to get you buy it. The problem is the more of them we buy the more rescores it takes. Most of their food has 9 grams of fat, that’s a lot for something little like that. Child should start buying apple slices because 7 %  of the children would choose French fries the one that’s bad for you. Lots of people don’t even think where their trash goes it all goes in a landfill.

Some things help the earth some things don’t. But these are some things that can. You can order less meat on your cheese burgers and other foods to eat healthier. Courage your school and family to reuse plastic straws because it can help landfills. Lots of things meaning plastic takes around 15 to 20% of landfills. Ask to not give paper french-fry holders and the paper underneath your trey. You can reuse plastic ware, Instead of getting your own and throwing it away. You could get it and reuse it. You’re not alone on this were depending on you to tell friends, family and you relatives.

Getting something and throwing it away is little. Getting something and reusing it means a lot, here’s some things that I do or plan to do.     I plan to not order plastic water bottles at fast food restaurants. My family and I recycle plastic straws to help the environment. I plan to choose apple slices instead of French fries. I plan before I throw my stuff away I’ll think if I could reuse it. It’s time to move on, things will work this way if you listen to me. Things won’t if you don’t listen to me.

There’s only on way to eat healthier and recycle and that chance is depended on you. I’m hoping you pick up this information but hey I care about this and you should to. I’m just a kid and so much more people could help the question is will you help too?

If you’re thinking his isn’t important than you should! There’s so many ways of eating healthier, people are going to live where trash is everywhere.
